“Al” Arlindo S. Torres, Jr., 80, of Warwick, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024. He was the loving husband for sixty years of Cathy R. (Cervini) Torres. Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late Arlindo S. Torres, Sr., and Mary (Enos) Torres.

Al was a graduate of Roger Williams University and served as a Firefighter for the City of Warwick until his retirement. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Al was a member of the Local 2748 I.A.F.F. and enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and working on his antique car.

Alongside his wife Cathy, he is survived by his beloved children, Donald Torres Lt. Cranston FD Retd. (Lori) of Warwick, Richard Torres BC Cranston FD (Mary) of Charlestown, and Kathie La Manna (Nicola) of North Kingstown, eleven grandchildren, Donald Torres, Amy Galligan (Shaun), Alex Torres (Erika), Alicia Kozikowski, Ricky Torres (Kaitlyn), Abbey Torres, Zachary Torres (Kylee), Hannah Torres, Olivia DeLuca, Sophia DeLuca, and Emily DeLuca, and eight great-grandchildren, Gianna, Lydia, Julian, Brayden, Trevor, Chase, Nora, and Creed, and two great-grandchildren arriving soon.

His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 11:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Interment will follow at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 4:00PM-7:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center, 3445 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886
